EASTAR Health System will host a seminar on female incontinence Tuesday, June 26 from 5:00- 6:00 pm in the Muskogee Civic Center at 425 Boston St, Muskogee in rooms A & B. The presentation and discussion will be led by Board Certified Gynecologist Carolyn D Hoekstra, MD. Nearly 25% of women will be diagnosed with one or more problems caused by pelvic floor disorder (PFD). And this statistic doubles for women 55+. Bladder weakness and control problems, pain and discomfort are among the many conditions caused by weak or unresponsive muscles in the pelvic floor. The good news is that these problems can be treated with amazing success. This event is aimed at allowing women to discuss this topic with a highly trained and experienced expert. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation. This event is free and open to the public.
